SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Track
practice has been canceled this afternoon--Friday, May 16th.
Spring Schedule Changes
- Track & Field @ Shapleigh (Kittery)
scheduled for 5/22 has been moved to
Wed, 5/21.
- 7th Grade
Baseball/Softball v. Biddeford scheduled for 5/22 has been moved to
Fri,
5/23.
- 8th Grade
Baseball vs. St. James scheduled for 6/3 has been moved to Wed, 6/4.
Reminder: You must have a completed athletic
card on file to participate in Spring Sports! All Baseball and Softball
practices take place on the outside fields (weather permitting). All track &
field practices take place at the high school.
Track students take their regular bus to
the high school for practice (2:15-4:00) and home meets -- Bus 8 is assigned for
walkers! A sports pass is required in order for students to be allowed to
get off their bus at KHS. The
late bus is available after practice from the high school for transportation
home.

Dear Parents:
Did you know that Kennebunkport Parks & Rec is
offering an MSK Outdoor Adventure Club series for students in grades 6-8 this
Spring? All activities are geared to meet the needs of the adventurous spirit
as well as those who want to try these activities but might be more reserved.
Here is what is being offered:
May 6th & 13th - Mountain Biking/Hiking -
Bradbury Mt., Freeport (Need to bring your own bike & helmet) Cost:
$15/participant/trip
June 3rd - Frisbee Golf - Edmund's Field -
Brunswick, ME Cost: $15/participant
May 27th & June 10th - Kayaking/Canoeing -
Starting @ the Grist Mill in Kennebunkport Cost: $15/participant/trip
All participants will be picked up at MSK at
2:15 (Parks & Rec Van) and will return around 6:30 p.m. Please have your child
pack a nutritious snack and a water bottle for each trip. A list of additional
items needed for each trip will be provided upon receiving the registration
form. (Forms are located in the MSK office.) There is a limit of 13
participants per event, so we urge you to sign up early!
