Dear Parents and Students,


     The entire staff of the Middle School of the Kennebunks welcomes you to our school.  We are committed to offering our young people equal opportunities to engage in challenging learning experiences.  We hold high expectations for all and promote positive student attitudes and motivation to achieve.  Our comprehensive standards-based program is designed to guide all students in the exploration and development of their individual talents.

     At MSK students work with a team of teachers.  These teachers encourage, support and coordinate their academic program to insure that they take advantage of every situation.  Each student has been assigned to an advisor.  Each advisor creates an atmosphere where children feel cared for, understood, challenged and appreciated.  Parents, please feel free to contact your child’s advisor at any time.

     We welcome parental interest and involvement.  These critical elements are the foundation of a strong partnership between home and school.  Together we will provide the best educational experience possible for your middle school youngster.
